FISHING REPORT: a good amount of fish within the Southern Jersey ocean

Another solid week-end of fishing is scheduled, with fluke, weakfish and bass all cooperating when you look at the backwaters, black colored drum smoking cigarettes the Delaware Bay catches, plus the beginning of shark fishing offshore.

“Fluke have already been stacked within the straight back,” stated Andy Grossman of Riptide Bait and Tackle in Brigantine. “Hot spots have been around in Eagle Bay, Broad Creek while the ICW, plus it appears the 7- to 10-foot depths are keeping many seafood.”
