I understand Chris McKinlay has gotten a good quantity of press for supposedly “gaming the machine” on OKCupid, but think about this: It nevertheless took 88 times for him to get a great match, and they are not really in a genuine relationship (merely a long-distance one, without any result in sight).
It appears like “gaming the machine” is a lot more onerous — and a lot more time intensive — than just asking away a random gal on the road, or perhaps in a course, or at the office, or perhaps in a club .
